One address, answered in writing
Earn Index keeps a single email address. Correspondence is read in English or Portuguese and answered in writing within two business days, Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 Brasília time. There is no telephone line, no live chat and no office open to visitors.
What to include
- The page in question, by its address, and the passage being asked about.
- For a correction, the source that supports it — a paper, a dataset or an agency notice.
- For an order, the address used at purchase and the date. No card details are ever needed and none should be sent.
- For a data request, the address the request concerns, so that the record can be located.
Common requests
- A question about a published note
- Questions about what a cited study measured, over which period, or with which population, are answered with reference to the paper. Where the answer is not in the published source, that is stated rather than filled in.
- A correction
- Corrections are made on the page where the error appeared. Substantive changes are recorded at the foot of the note rather than made silently. The policy is set out on the Method page.
- A refund on a paid item
- Requests are handled under the Refund Policy, which sets out the 30-day window, the timings and the statutory rights it does not replace.
- A request about personal data
- Access, correction, deletion, portability and objection requests are handled under the Privacy Notice, which lists the legal bases, the retention periods and the supervisory authorities.
What is not offered
There is no advisory service. Correspondence does not include professional, financial, investment, tax, legal, employment or career advice, does not review anyone's individual circumstances, and does not provide consultation, coaching or mentorship. Requests of that kind are declined in writing.
This address is not a crisis line. It is read during business hours and is not monitored continuously. In an emergency, local emergency services are the appropriate contact.
