Refund Policy

Reading the index costs nothing. This policy applies where a paid compilation of notes is purchased through this site.

The window

Any paid item may be refunded within 30 calendar days of the purchase date. No reason has to be given, and no explanation is requested. The window runs from the date of the transaction shown on the order record, not from the date the material is opened.

How to request one

Send a written request to [email protected] from the email address used at purchase, stating the item and the purchase date. Card details are never needed and should not be sent. A request is treated as received on the date the message arrives, including outside business hours.

How long it takes

• Acknowledgement in writing within two business days.
• The refund is submitted to the payment processor within five business days of the request being received.
• The processor and the card issuer or bank then post the credit, which commonly takes a further five to ten business days and is outside this publisher's control.
• Refunds are made to the original payment method, in the original currency and for the full amount paid.

Limits

Requests made after the 30-day window are considered case by case, with no assurance that a refund will be issued. Where the same item is repeatedly purchased and refunded by the same buyer, further purchases may be declined. Currency conversion differences and any fee charged by a buyer's own bank are set by that bank and cannot be reimbursed here.

Rights this policy does not replace

This policy is offered in addition to statutory rights and does not limit them. Under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Lei nº 8.078/1990, Art. 49), a consumer who purchases outside a business establishment may withdraw within seven days of purchase or receipt. Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom have their own statutory withdrawal rights for distance contracts, subject to the rules on digital content. Where a statutory right is more favourable than this policy, the statutory right applies.

Disputes

Raising a question in writing before initiating a chargeback usually resolves the matter faster, because the order record can be checked and, where a refund is due, paid directly. Nothing in this paragraph restricts the right to contact a card issuer or bank.
